My Rooster Report ("we") is run by [LLC name], New York. This page says what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• About the student: grades, test scores, intended major, the schools you are considering, your budget and your ranked priorities.
• From each school's net price calculator: only the final number you type in. You enter income and savings into the school's own calculator, not into our forms. We never ask for tax returns, account numbers or Social Security numbers.
• Contact details: your name and email, so we can send your report and answer you.
• Payment: handled by Stripe, and by Klarna or Affirm if you pay over time. We do not see or store your card number.
• Basic technical data: our host, Netlify, keeps ordinary server logs. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To build your report, send it, and answer your questions and change requests.
• To handle payment, refunds and tax records.

We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or take money from colleges or scholarship sites.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the business: Stripe (payments), Netlify (this site and its contact form), Tally or a similar form tool (intake forms), Google Workspace (email and files), and an AI assistant that helps build the model and draft report pages. A person checks every report. [Confirm each provider and its data terms before launch.]

How long we keep it

We keep your answers and your report for [90 days after your report or change period ends], so we can handle corrections and questions. Then we delete them. We keep payment records as long as tax law requires.

Students and children

The forms are for parents and for students who are 18 or older. If a parent fills in a form for a student under 13, they do so as the parent. Please do not submit a form on a child's behalf if you are not their parent or guardian.

Your choices

Ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Use the contact form and we will reply within 48 hours.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above.
