What you are buying
A personal data report that ranks colleges using the information you give us, each school's published data and your own net price calculator results. The report is information. It is not admissions counseling, financial, tax or legal advice.
No promises about results
Net prices, odds and scholarship matches are estimates. Final admission decisions and aid offers can differ from any figure in a report. We do not promise admission, aid or savings, and the choice of school is yours.
What you provide
You agree that what you tell us is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Reports are only as good as that information and the calculator numbers you enter. If a calculator will not run, we estimate that school from College Scorecard data and mark it as an estimate.
Timing
We aim to send calculator links within 48 hours of your intake form and your report within 48 hours of receiving your net prices. Answers to questions come within 48 hours. These are targets, and a delay does not change your rights below.
Changes and updates
The report includes one round of corrections. The six-month plan adds six changes at the start of each month, for six months. One change counts as one, whatever its size. Unused changes expire at the end of each month. Fixing our own mistakes is always free and never counts. A report covers up to 15 schools at once. Someone who bought the report alone can add the six-month plan within 60 days of delivery for $250.
Founding customer prices
The prices on our site are founding customer prices for our first 10 reports. After that we raise them. The price you pay is the price on the page when you pay, and it does not change afterward.
Refunds
If a report contains an error we cannot correct, we refund the price you paid. We do not refund based on admission or aid results. [Add the refund window and how to ask before launch.]
Paying over time
Where offered at checkout, Klarna or Affirm may let you pay in installments. Their terms, fees and approval decisions are theirs, not ours. We receive payment in full.
Your report and our work
The report is for your family's personal use. Please do not resell or publish it. We may use anonymous, combined statistics, never anything that identifies you.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us. [Attorney to confirm wording.]
